David Lee Coleman Sr. (Pawpaw), Age 81, of Portsmouth, Virginia, passed away on August 2, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth P. France. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings Diane Bergeron (twin), Anne C Robichaux, Shana Trosclair, Steve Coleman, nieces and nephews, three children David Coleman Jr (Beverly), Kimberly Coleman Woods (Steve) and Kerri G Coleman Escusha, 10 grandchildren, Ashley, David III, Dale, Travis, Wesley, Jacob, Shelby, Zachary, Charlie, Jessica, 9 great grandchildren and a host of friends and acquaintances. David retired as First-Class Petty Officer, Radioman, after serving 24 years in the US Navy, then retired again from NNSY (antenna shop). Mr. Coleman will be remembered at Albert G Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with full military honors on August 23rd, 2024, at 3:00PM. All friends are welcome!
